This was really good. I'm happy that Esmeralda is finished. I am also glad that Jayd is discovering herself and finds some "satisfaction" with Chase from time to time in this story. As a reader of these books since 2006, I can tell that she's moving along from a teenage girl to a young adult woman. I just wonder if Misty will chill out now that her godmother is gone. But, knowing Misty, she'll always be around to make Jayd's life a living hell just like she did before Esmeralda came into the picture. I also hope that she doesnt let Rah touch her in the way that she let Chase did. Rah will always have Trish or Sandy around him, and that equals heartache and pain where Jayd is concerned. Overall, this book was great, and I can't wait for Rogue.Product details

I love this series I anxiously wait until I see another one
I really enjoy reading about Jayd and her friends. I wonder what will happen next with them. The ending could have been a little better but I liked it very much!!

I loved this book even though I didn't even know it was released yet and imagined surprise when I did, lol😱😀😃😄😊. I am sad that Jay'd and Chase didn't work out even though I felt I knew it was to good to be true anyway, and I think Jay'd is gonna find some way to be with Rah at least he end or she many just be by herself for a while. I was disappointed that it was shorter than then others but it was worth the wait. I kinda find it rushed and unrealistic how Jay'd with help of course killed Esmeralda off at the end but I'm not complaining, lol. I feel bad for Nellie but she's kinda brought that bad stuff on her self and Mickey and Nigel? i'm just shaking my head at them. i can't wait for the next book hopefully we won't have to wait that long, lol.
Pay close attention to what I have to say on why I gave this book 1 star instead of 5 stars like the other 2 people who rated this book.
1. I waited months for the release of this book, and expected it to be released on Black Friday, but it's understandable that sometimes things happens and a change of plans happen as well.
The book was released midnight 12/06/14 and I bought it right away and quickly began reading! Here's what I have to say honestly about this Author and this book.
L.Divine rushed this book honestly! The book was very fast pace and skipped a lot of the events you would think she would give us really good details on so we can put it into our imaginations.
When I got half way into the book my brain actually started to hurt from the played out story I have never ever gotten a headache from reading a book, but this book gave me the biggest migraine ever. I hated the fact Jayd gave her virginity over to Chase in the previous book only for her to take it so lightly in this book! Not only that how do you sleep with one guy, accept a gift from your ex boyfriend Jeremy, dream about your first ex boyfriend Rah sexually, and think about a potential boy you thought would be your boyfriend aka keenan, and still mess around with chase a guy who loves you? I use to look up to Jayd, but L.Divine has tarnished my image of Jayd as this head strong, independent female and turned her into this trying to help everybody but herself while being lowkey in live with 4-5 boys like what is this? Not only that but for crying outloud Jayd is 17 years old spending the night at boys house and having sex with him and her parents are ok with this? This book made me so angry! I refunded the book and got my money back because I truly felt disappointed to the highest degree.
If you read the previous books don't expect anything different from this book because they all end up being the same drama that's being dragged out! Omg and how she so easily defeated her enemies just made me ask what the heck was the point of this book? It ended so fast you would think Jayd could have easily killed the damn bird in the end of this book in the beginning of the book.
I think I speak for myself when I say this will be the last book I read from L.Divine on Drama High series because she's going to continue to repeat stuff we already knew and read in the previous, books and I honestly love the image I had in Jayd before this book and I do not want my image of her being tarnished by her story further carrying out! I wish this Author the best, but for some who enjoys writing the least she could have done was give me a better story especially for $6.99 the story should be worth the money you pay for it.
Although shorter than her previous novels in the series, Ms. Divine is not short with the drama. I love the fact that I can't stand the fact that Jayd can't escape Rah's grasp on her even though I desperately want her too. But that's why L. Divine is such a good writer, what you want to happen in the book usually doesn't happen and if t does it happens unexpectedly. Like Jayd losing her virginity to Chase! This was so unexpected, I never would have guessed this in a million years, yet it fit, it worked, it was perfect. I just wish the series would progress more, Jayd's been in high school toooooo long. It's time for Jayd to graduate and attend an institution of higher learning and get out of the drama of high school. Ready to for Jayd succeed in college, leave Rah alone PERMANENTLY, find true unconditional love, and excel as a voodoo priestess. Hope this all goes down within the next 2 books. Ready for Drama U or Drama College these are the rumors I'm hearing.
